President Buhari employs blind man as aide 07:47 23/02/2016 Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a visually impaired man as his Special Assistant, Punch has reported. According to a statement released by Buhari's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President has tasked Dr. Samuel Ankeli with the responsibility of dealing with persons living with disability on his behalf. Also read: Group accuses Buhari of planning to make northerner CAN head Shehu added that the newly-elected aide had previously led a team that successfully mobilised more than 24 million disabled people across the country to support the All Progress Congress (APC) during the last election. Ankeli is alleged to have been born in Benue State, working within the Government before quitting his job to take up activist work and promote the well-being of those living with disabilities.
